We closed out February—the month of love—with Aligned & Abundant: A Night of Self-Love for Women in Business, a sold-out mixer in collaboration with Krystal Jugarap of EM/POWEREDbyWMN. With inspiring guest speakers Lisa May Francisco of Sacred Femme Alchemy, Alena Le Blanc of Le Blanc Label, and Jacquelyn Vasquez of The Pursuit to Happy, the evening was nothing short of transformational. Hands down, it was one of the best events we've ever hosted—a night that promised a conversation about self-love and delivered it in abundance.
We began with a powerful EFT tapping session led by Jacqui, guiding us through affirmations that helped release limiting beliefs and mental blocks. With every tap, we made space for self-worth and an abundance mindset. From there, an intimate and heartfelt panel discussion unfolded, with each speaker sharing her journey with raw honesty. Their words carried pearls of wisdom that filled the room and deeply resonated with our hearts.
What I took away from that evening is that, at our core, we all share the same fears and doubts—threads that connect us in our vulnerable human experience. Yet, through those very struggles, we also rise. We break patterns, defy the odds, and step into new levels of self-love and self-worth. It was a powerhouse of women doing the work, owning their stories, and fully stepping into their power.
Throughout the evening, the speakers shared profound insights on self-love, personal growth, and forging your own path. Here are some of the most powerful snippets that left us feeling inspired and empowered.
On How They Define Self-Love
Alena:
"Self-love means spending time with and on yourself. It’s about setting boundaries, discovering what you like, and intentionally carving out time for yourself each day. That small shift can have a powerful impact on everything you do."
Lisa:
“Self-love is about understanding that what I feel, what I have to say, and my needs are important—even if they’re not met. It’s about grounding into yourself and not abandoning who you are.”
Krystal:
“For me, it’s about recognizing that all the things you want are within your reach—you are worthy of creating that life. You are worthy of having what you desire. We grow up believing we have to follow certain paths, and I’ve certainly walked that journey, doing all the things everyone asked of me. But even though I’ve had big visions in my head for as long as I can remember, I never pursued them. I followed the path I was supposed to take. It wasn’t until I realized that the things I want for myself, the things in my head, should be a priority. I should be a priority.”
On Choosing Yourself and Finding Your Path
Alena:
“When you realize how strong and capable you are, you start to love yourself more. Every day I think, ‘Holy sh*t, this is amazing.’ When you’re aligned with your passions, you see how empowering it is to help others do the same.”
Krystal:
“We get to decide what we do in this world. The more I lean into who I truly am, the more doors open for me. The more I love myself, the more abundant opportunities become. It’s beautiful.”
Thuy:
“When you stay true to your path and your unique mission, doors fly open. Life becomes easier and more abundant when you’re no longer swimming against the current but going with the flow.”
On Loving Yourself in Relationships
Lisa:
“Vulnerability is the gateway to self-love. Letting someone see those parts of you that you’re unsure of is beautiful. The more I love myself and raise the bar for my own needs, the more I attract relationships that align with that love.”
“This might be controversial, but I believe it’s actually harder to maintain a relationship than it is to find one. Once you’re in it, that’s when everything tests you—when things get tough and you feel like you want to run. It’s like a final exam for all the inner work you’ve done. It’s a test of whether you’ve really embodied that work in your life.”
How Clothing and Style Impact Self-Worth
Alena:
“Clothes are a powerful tool. When you wear something that fits and flatters, it shifts your energy. Many of my clients used to hide behind oversized clothes, but once they started wearing clothes that reflected their true selves, everything changed—not just in how they felt but in how they showed up in relationships and careers.”
On Building a Women’s Network and Finding Your Tribe
Krystal:
“The ones telling you that you can’t do it are often the ones who haven’t figured it out themselves. But the ones who have, who are where you want to be—they’re cheering you on. They want to see you succeed because they know it’s possible, and that belief inspires you to do the same.”
“Meeting people like this—seeing their faces—helps me recognize my true people. I’ve learned that it’s okay not to connect with everyone. Now, I’m intentional about where I spend my time and energy, choosing spaces that fuel me. When I do, I’m able to show up as my best self in all areas of my life, including being a present, patient mom.”
The Aligned & Abundant event was an evening filled with heartfelt wisdom and powerful insights from incredible women in business. I know I’m not alone in feeling that we all left more inspired and empowered than when we arrived. The power of women coming together to support one another through shared stories is undeniable. I wholeheartedly believe that events like these don’t just spark inspiration—they create lasting change in our lives. We can’t wait to gather again, continue these meaningful conversations, and uplift one another on this journey of growth and self-love.
